Taken 2 (2012): A Father's Revenge on 'the' Father

Taken 2 is a thrilling sequel to the original Taken movie, starring Liam Neeson. The movie picks up where the first one left off, with Neeson's character, Bryan Mills, still trying to protect his family from harm. However, this time, he finds himself in Istanbul, where he and his wife are kidnapped by the father of one of the men Mills killed in the first film.

The movie is packed with action and suspense, with Neeson once again delivering a strong performance as the determined father trying to protect his family. The action sequences are well choreographed and intense, and the plot is decent.

Of course, there are flaws. It has a similar plot, revenge motive, car chases, etc. However, the movie is still enjoyable overall, with Neeson's performance and the action sequences making up for any shortcomings.

If you enjoyed the first Taken movie, you will likely enjoy Taken 2 as well. It may not be a groundbreaking movie, but it delivers on its promise of thrilling action and suspense.

I rate it 3 out of 5.
